A short description of how the Innocence works: When activated, the innocence transforms the air from the lungs into a gas that is poisonous to the Akuma. The gas then may either spread slowly to cover a large area, or become compressed to form needle-like shapes that can strike a single target quickly and with relative accuracy. The gas, though not deadly to humans, can cause them to become unconscious. Even Keir is no safe from this, hence the mask. It allows the gas to leave and then filters the air that is inhaled. In addition, the gas can be placed into grenade-like containers and then used by non-exorcists to weaken an Akuma (the gas starts to lose its effectiveness after 10 minutes and then loses it completely after 2 hours so it's mostly used to escape them rather than fight them).

History: Keir was adopted from an orphanage in Russia and brought to live in the US along with Jason (Keir's brother). Shortly after, however, their adoptive parents fell victim to an Akuma. During a different attack some months later, some Exorcists that had come to their aid realized Keir was one of them and promptly brought the siblings back to headquarters where Keir trained and eventually became powerful enough to be granted the title of General.

Pom: Keir doesn't talk, so Pom does. Pom can also regenerate (since people trying to silence Keir often destroy him). Besides that, this golem can't do much. Pom was not meant for battle. He likes laughing at people, though. |D
